I love the designs and messages of Cricut’s I Am a Fighter cartridge. Show support to a loved one battling cancer by wearing these designs, or if you are fighting cancer, make an item for yourself for Breast Cancer Awareness month.

Everyone has been affected in some way by cancer. It sucks. I have lost and nearly lost a few people in my own family to breast cancer. Most recently, my neighbor lost her battle just last month. October is Breast Cancer Awareness month.
I love how people show support by wearing pink for their friend, loved one or neighbor. I used the Cricut designs on some sweatshirts and water bottles. These would make great gifts for someone you know who is fighting cancer or for yourself to show them support.

Instructions:
Choose your design from the I Am A Fighter cartridge in Cricut Design Space. I loved so many of them but finally decided on four of them. Each design costs 99 cents but once you have purchased it you can cut it out as many times as you would like. You can also purchase the entire cartridge.
Once you have your design selected you will want to resize it for you water bottle. I cut mine at 2.5 inches across for my bottles. I also attached my design so the colors would stay exactly where they are for easy placement later on.
Select Make It and choose out the vinyl as your material. Apply your vinyl to your mat and make sure it is smooth. Cut our your designs.
Weed the designs and apply your transfer tape. Make sure your water bottles are clean and dry for application.
Apply the transfer tape to the water bottle and press down. I like to use my large Cricut scraper to make sure it is nice and secure. Carefully remove the transfer tape. Apply the next layer of the design and carefully remove the transfer tape.
Now you have some spectacular water bottles!
Instructions for the shirts:
Measure out your shirts and resize the designs you chose accordingly. I measure and made mine 9 inches in width because that fit my sweatshirts.
Select Make It and make sure to mirror your image for each mat! Don’t forget this step! Make sure you have the correct material selected for each mat because you will be cutting Cricut Glitter Iron-on and Everyday Iron-on which have different settings.
Weed your designs and prepare your shirts for application. Heat up your Cricut EasyPress 2 to the correct settings. I check my tags for what material I am pressing on and then use the interactive heating chart found HERE.
You will press each layer separately. Once you have pressed and removed the protective lining from the first layer make sure you have either the iron-on protective sheet or a piece of parchment paper to protect that layer while you iron on the next layer.
Once you have pressed all your layers your shirts are done! I love how these turned out and I think they will make great presents from someone supporting a loved one fighting cancer.
The sparkly lipstick Glitter Iron-on is one of my favorites!
