CREATE CUSTOM T-SHIRTS WITH THE CRICUT EASYPRESS 2

I love creating custom t-shirts with my Cricut machine and Cricut’s new EasyPress 2. Final t-shirt with Cricut EasyPress 2-2 This post contains affiliate links. This means if you make a purchase through my links, I’ll receive a small portion of your purchase at no extra cost to you.

Iron-on is one of my favorite materials to use with my Cricut and the EasyPress so I was excited to learn about the release of the Cricut EasyPress 2. When Cricut announced the EasyPress 2 at the Cricut Mountain Make-a-thon, they also announced they were releasing two new sizes, 6×7 and 12×10, in addition to the 9X9. I love that there is a bigger and smaller option now to suit every project need. The Cricut EasyPress 2 has a faster heat-up time and can now heat up to 400 F.  The ceramic-coated plate ensures even heat for flawless iron-on application. The new EasyPress 2 also comes in a fun raspberry color!

I was excited to use my new 9X9 EasyPress 2 to make this cute shirt. I love to use the Slice tool in Cricut Design Space to change up images in the Design Space library and make my own custom designs. I used a few images that I sliced to make this cute “Work Hard, Nap Hard” shirt.

Instructions:

You can open my T-shirt design HERE already done for you, but I wanted to show you how easy it is to create your own designs using the Slice tool.

Insert both images and make sure you have both selected. Then click on the Slice tool to slice out the words from the cat.

Tip: You can only slice 2 layers at a time, so if you have a  multi-layered image you will need to flatten it to one layer or remove some of the layers. How to use the slice tool in Cricut Design Space Once you have sliced the images, you will want to remove the extra words by deleting those layers. Then you will just have your image to cut out for your shirt! Remove sliced image in Cricut Design Space Click on Make It, and make sure to select the Mirror button since you are using iron-on.
