When I saw the new HTVRONT Auto Heat Press, I really wanted to try one out. I was impressed with the sleek design of the heat press, the auto feature, and how it stood out from every other heat press currently on the market.
HTVRONT was kind enough to send me a machine to test out, so read on for my honest review of the HTVRONT Auto Heat Press.
Before I share my review, let me answer any questions you might have about the HTVRONT Auto Heat Press . If you already know all about it, just skip to the bottom and I’ll let you know what I think.

How Much Does the HTVRONT Auto Heat Press Cost?
Currently the machine costs $249.99 . You can order a machine HERE.
Can I Change the Pressure of the HTVRONT Auto Heat Press?
Unfortunately, no you cannot change the pressure setting. The Auto Heat Press automatically sets the pressure based on the thickness of the material you are pressing. This can be a bad thing since not all iron-on materials are created the same, and sometimes different pressure is needed. There is also no way to tell exactly how much pressure is being used. Only the temperature and time are displayed on the Auto Heat Press.
Can You Wrap a Shirt/Blank around the Drawer of the HTVRONT Auto Heat Press?
No, you can’t wrap your blank around the drawer on the Auto Heat Press because this keeps the drawer from closing all the way which will cause an error message. Your blank sits on top of the pad on the drawer. This might be a problem for thicker blanks like some sweatshirts since you have the whole thing on top of the pad.
Can I do Sublimation with the HTVRONT Auto Heat Press?
Yes! Because the machine heats up to 410° F you can do sublimation with the heat press. I have yet to try it with my machine, but I have seen other reviews test it out and it works great.
What Colors Does the HTVRONT Auto Heat Press Come In?
Currently it comes in white (which is the one I have) and a light blue (which looks so cute!)
Pros and Cons of the HTVRONT Auto Heat Press and My Review
Hopefully that answered your questions about the HTVRONT Auto Heat Press. Now on to my review! I tested out the machine with some different iron-on materials from HTVRONT.
I tried out regular iron-on, holographic iron-on and their color-changing chameleon iron on.
PROS:
- I love the look of the machine. It has such a great, sleek design and looks awesome in my craft room. It’s not bulky looking like some other heat presses.
- I think the slide out drawer is a really nice feature. It’s handy not having to lift the machine to get out my project and just slide the drawer towards me.
- I love the simple operation. You just turn it on, adjust the heat and time, let it heat up and then it’s just once click to press your project
- I was happy with the projects I pressed in it. I still would like to test out some different materials and try sublimation, but I thought it pressed the iron-on well.
- Automatic pressing is awesome and I love just sliding in the drawer and watching it press
- The machine does heat up pretty fast, and the heating does seem to be even across the entire heating plate
- I liked that machine was ready to go right out of the box. Just plug it in and start using it!
CONS:
- My machine sits slightly lopsided. It has rubber feet on the bottom, and for some reason one side of my machine, the feet will not screw up any further.
- The digital screen didn’t have a plastic sheet protector when it was shipped so it got a little scratched up, which bugs me a little. The machine was packaged well with lots of padding, but the scratches were something I noticed.
- It’s a little tricky working on the top of the slide out drawer near the heat plate. I just had to be careful that I didn’t accidentally touch the heat plate when I would be pulling up a larger shirt near the top. With small blanks, this wasn’t a problem.
- Not being able to change the pressure setting might be a problem for some people.
- Sometimes I would need to press a design twice before I felt like it was properly adhered. I followed the settings HTVRONT shares on their website but since they have a suggested range of temperatures and times, sometimes the items needed a longer press. This probably isn’t a machine issue per-se, but certain materials just needed a longer press
So, would I recommend the HTVRONT Auto Heat Press?
Yes! I think this is a good heat press option for someone in the market. I’m excited to keep using it and trying out other materials with it. If you have any other questions I can help answer, let me know in the comments. You can check out the HTVRONT website HERE
